Annual reports
After rebranding in 2021, Leukaemia UK turned to us to design their first major publication in the new brand style. This involved resolving a number of ‘firsts’ as well as the creation of new assets, such as bespoke illustrations.
What we did
Project management, illustration, design, artwork
Alongside the client, we worked to build on, develop, and implement a graphic style around the ‘bare bones’ of the guidelines, helping to add to the vocabulary of the brand.
Thinking beyond the design
This first iteration was so well received, that we were invited back the following year to create the next (more in-depth) annual report. Again, this involved taking an existing draft and making it work as well as possible on the page, not just from a design point of view, but also considering the needs of the reader. For example, paying attention to signposting and the pace of the journey.
For a job with so many stakeholders, it was wonderful to receive an across the board endorsement: ‘These look great! The philanthropy team is really happy too… and the feedback from the Board etc. has been fantastic.
